email is a asynchronous form of communication, this helps in some cases, when you dont need the receiver to be online at the same time (think of people working in different timezones or only different daily routines like juja and me ;-) or even dont want them to be online (why are so many relationships finalised via email these days? cowards!).
but it also needs patience to wait until the reply is writtend and sent, if the answer is very urgent, and time goes fast these days, things change very quickly, what was new today gets boring tomorrow, new people come into our lifes, priorities alter fast, there are forms of communication that fit better, cause they are more up to date, so email has to take a back seat.
